Welcome to the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences (VCS). VCS is one of five academic departments in the CVM comprising 50+ diverse faculty and staff members across a wide range of disciplines, all allied in teaching, research, and clinical efforts relevant to companion animals, equines, and other large animals.
Fourth year veterinary students spend much of their time in the veterinary teaching hospital, working alongside the clinicians and residents, refining the clinical training which they started in the second and third years of the professional program.
Clinical specialties services include: anesthesiology, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, equine, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, emergency and critical care, primary care, and reproduction.
The Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center has outstanding veterinary expertise through its board-certified clinicians, faculty, and technical staff in a state-of-the-art facility. We have expertise and experience in conducting clinical trials and analyzing the data.
