New appointments are available Monday through Thursday, while rechecks are accommodated every weekday from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Additionally, our service accepts transfers from our emergency department seven days a week, 365 days a year.
For most internal medicine appointments, admission of your pet to the medical center for at least one day, if not overnight, is typically required. Given the high demand at our center, not all diagnostic testing can be completed on the same day. Imaging and diagnostic procedures requiring general anesthesia are usually scheduled for the day following the initial appointment.
When scheduling your appointment, please be aware that you may not always see the same doctor or student. Our teams operate on rotational schedules to ensure year-round care while allowing time for teaching and research endeavors. This team-based approach enables us to deliver seamless care for your pet every day of the year.
