Who qualifies: Clinically healthy foals requiring plasma due to failure of passive transfer and are subsequently discharged.
*Additional liters of plasma or diagnostic testing can be added on for additional fees after discussion with clients
Sick Foal Exam
Estimated cost: $600
Includes: Initial emergency examination, baseline blood work, thoracic and abdominal imaging, and initial treatment with plasma
Who qualifies: Any sick foal
*Once the foal has been evaluated, a follow up estimate will be provided to the client for any additional recommended diagnostics, hospitalization, and continued care
