Dr. Dennis Nelson of Bradenton, Fla., and the son of Dr. Clifford Nelson (’39) passed June 30, 2024.
Dr. Nelson was the “last of the Nelson vets.” He graduated from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1970 and worked in many areas of veterinary medicine after leaving large animal practice in 1974 including corporate animal, high tech and pharmaceutical. He was a veterinarian with sales, marketing and management skills.
